Helicopters at Hoover Dam

Located in the Mojave Desert next to the Hoover Dam Lodge, this heliport serves as the launch point for Papillon Helicopters at Hoover Dam and the surrounding area. Our tours have clearance to fly closer to the Hoover Dam than any other tour operator, offering amazing views of the massive, concrete structure.

NOTE: The Hoover Dam Lodge heliport is temporarily closed, and we anticipate this Hoover Dam site to reopen in 2023. Our nearby Boulder City Airport location is currently operating on a normal schedule and offers a variety of Hoover Dam helicopter tours.

Hoover Dam Lodge Helicopter Rides

The Hoover Dam Lodge helicopter ride heliport itself is only 3.5 miles from the Hoover Dam and just minutes away from the Colorado River, making it a great place to start your exploration of all the area has to offer. Dining options and restrooms are available in the Hoover Dam Lodge next door. 

Getting here is easy. Our heliport is located in the northeast corner of the Hoover Dam Lodge parking lot, and we offer shuttle service from the Harry Reid International Airport and most major Las Vegas hotels (you don't have to be staying at the hotel to make use of the shuttle service.)
